A leading firm of intellectual property law specialists, which has an office in St Albans, is celebrating after being named as a finalist in the International category at the Herts Business Awards 2017.
Cleveland Scott York works with businesses around the world that are looking to protect their technology and brands in the UK and Europe and with a network of intellectual property law specialists globally to secure overseas protection for UK-based businesses.
The rigorous judging process for the Herts Business Awards has already seen Cleveland Scott York make a detailed submission to the judges, setting out in detail its international business strategy.
As the finalists in the category are whittled down to a single winner, the next stage in the judging process will see members of the judging panel visit Cleveland Scott York’s offices to see for themselves how the firm’s patent and trade mark attorneys act internationally.
Andrew Mackenzie, a Partner and Chartered Patent Attorney at Cleveland Scott York, said: “We are delighted to have been named as finalists at the Herts Business Awards.
“We actively work with businesses and colleagues around the world on a daily basis, helping to bring overseas investment into the local and national economies.
“All of us at Cleveland Scott York are now looking forward to welcoming the judges to our offices and showing them the strength of our international work across our patent and our trade mark practices.”
Cleveland Scott York also has offices in the City of London, Reading and Brussels.
The winners of the Herts Business Awards will be announced at a prestigious ceremony at Knebworth House in November.[:]
