Two professionals at a leading firm of intellectual property specialists are celebrating their promotions
Nick Bennett, a Chartered Patent Attorney at the City of London offices of Cleveland Scott York, has been promoted from Associate to Senior Associate. Meanwhile, trainee patent attorney Kate Voller has been promoted from Technical Assistant to Senior Assistant.
The promotions come as Cleveland IP and Scott & York IP Law merge to create Cleveland Scott York. In addition to its offices in the City, the firm also has offices in Reading, St Albans and Brussels.
Nick’s practice involves the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of chemistry, medical technology and mechanics. He also regularly represents clients at hearings before the European Patent Office and advises on oppositions and appeals.
Kate assists Partners with the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering and software.
